[That's all he's going to say to that. He saw the message this morning on the journals and he doesn't care one bit about it. The brat is gone? Good. That means he gets a whole day of quiet time to himself. Unfortunately she'll make her way back here by tonight so he might as well enjoy himself while he can]

[ Yuri marches straight over to him. She knows that the closer she gets the more likely she is to get hypnotized if she pisses him off, but she's planning on getting what she wants before he even thinks about it. ]

Whether you like Yotsuba or not, Otonashi was the one who took her in. If you're going to sit around and let the things and people that Otonashi cared about get lost or in danger, then you're not only a spineless coward and pathetic, but you're being disrespectful to him!

[ And here it comes. A right hook, straight into his forehead. ]

She probably left because she's hurting just as much as you are, would you like it if everyone abandoned you while you were in pain? If I said just because Otonashi's gone, we can't stay in the same house anymore and you should go sleep on the streets or something? You can hate me and make comments on how I should learn to cook or pretend you're god, but if you're just going to sit in here and act like the world stops turning just because you can't be happy then I'm not even sure how you managed to get into our afterlife in the first place with that kind of loser attitude!

[Before he even gets the chance to open his mouth and argue right back, her fist smacks into his forehead and he grips his head.

Shut the hell up. Otonashi would be the last person he would ever disrespect. Otonashi deserved more respect than anyone on this god damn planet.

He quickly shoves her away from him with all the strength he can muster up, stands up from the bed and glares down at her]

Just shut up! Yotsuba ran away on her own volition. I did nothing to assist her in that decision. Yeah, I yelled at her, so what? I always yell at her. Nothing's changed. I have not nor will I ever disrespect Otonashi.

I know my own boundaries.

You are! The difference is that she and you are both hurting because Otonashi was important to both of you! That's the difference! You two have pain that you share and you'd rather leave her alone because you're too busy wallowing!

[ She points at him, then at the door. ]

What if something bad happens to her? You may not like her, but Otonashi did care for her, otherwise she wouldn't be here. You have to take care of the things that are important to you and the people who are important to you. If you don't want to admit that I'm right, then you can consider it an order to help out another member of the SSS.

[You know what? No matter what she says, even if it happens to be right, he isn't going to admit she's right. He never would. Maybe it's pride or he's just too stubborn for his own good.

So he stuffs his hands in his pockets and faces the door] I'd rather take it as an order. [Not... that he's actually considering it an order. God doesn't take orders from anyone.
